In a traffic accident on Thursday, three people were killed and another injured on the road from El Geneina to Zalingei in Central Darfur.
A witness reported to Radio Dabanga that the accident, involving a Land Cruiser, happened near Atoz. The three killed passengers are Musadag Mohamad Ali El Haj, Musa Adam, Abubakar Mohamed Yousif, while Ali Yousif sustained injuries.
In Zalingei, Central Darfur, Idris Ibrahim Mubarak (21 years) from the Hasshissa camp for displaced people was shot by unknown assailants on Wednesday.
El Shafie Abdullah, the coordinator of the camps in the state, told Radio Dabanga that two gunmen opened fire on two of camp residents who were returning to the camp. Mubarak was injured in the chest, and has been transferred to Zalingei hospital.
