Other witnesses who fled confirmed that heavy aerial bombardments started on Tuesday evening and continued until Wednesday evening, targeting the villages Makariba A and Makariba B located between Tabit and Zamzam camp, south of El Fasher and places around the area of Tabit. The witnesses said that these bombardments coincided with the shelling, reportedly launched from Tabit military base, which led to the deaths. The injured have not yet been counted since the villagers have been hiding in valleys and mountains and are surviving by themselves.
