Darfuri refugees injured in Chad road accident
Four Darfuri refugees were injured in a traffic accident between Bredjing and Gaga camps in eastern Chad on Monday. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, Sadiq Yagoub reported from Gaga camp that the group of 13 were on their way in a “commercial Land Cruiser” from the Bredjing refugee camp to a funeral. The accident took place at 3km east of Gaga camp. The cause has not been identified so far, Yagoub said. The names of the injured are: Sherif Mohamed Ahmed (49), Osman Khamis Mohamed (40), Abdallah Ismail Adam (45), and Khamis Yagoub Ali (40). They received treatment at the health centre of Gaga camp.
