Darfur security refuse family visit to detained leafleter

Security authorities in North Darfur have turned away family visitors to a man jailed for distributing leaflets that advocated protests.The detainee Hassabullah Wadi Jumaa was arrested two weeks ago in Al Lait Jar Al Nabi after distributing leaflets calling for citizens to go out to demonstrate against the government. Security authorities flew Hassabullah by jet to El Fasher, where he is now being held.

 Family members who traveled to see Hassabullah were turned away. The family members expressed grave concern to Radio Dabanga after receiving information that he has been tortured.
