Organizations working in the field of health, in collaboration with the Chadian Ministry of Health, built a new health center for the refugees in Abu Nabag Camp. They used fixed materials to replace the former health center which was just a group of tents. One of the refugees in the camp confirmed that new health center was build in a location that was easy to get to and that there were no security threats which a patient could face on the way to the health center once it is opened.
In its Monday bulletin, Radio Dabanga had announced the news that the Chadian minister of health had given orders for transferring the health center of Abu Nabag in eastern Chad to elsewhere in the area. The news turned out to be incorrect and Radio Dabanga apologizes to its listeners for the accidental mistake.
