The missing fighters had been conscripted from Rehed Al Birdi in South Darfur. A man from the Rehed Al Birdi area told Radio Dabanga that dozens of people from the region were still unaccounted after authorities failed to determine their whereabouts in the aftermath of those battles. The families of the missing men are concerned and they are calling on the authorities to locate them.
