Darfur displaced in Abu Suruj complain of herders on their farms

The  displaced from Abu Suruj in Sirba Locality of West Darfur State complained that pastoralists have herded livestock onto their farms. The residents of Abu Suruj told Radio Dabanga that even though the growing season is good, they worry that the shepherds have walked their cattle on the crops, damaging farms. They pointed out that women go out early to protect their farms, but herders take advantage of the night to the introduce livestock onto farms.
