Culprit in police custody after robbery and murder near Garsila

A suspected murderer is in police custody in Garila after the robbery and murder of a man in Garsila, West Darfur. Armed men killed the citizen Elhadi Mohammed Abdulla Suleiman and wounded two others in the area of Bata, which lies 20 kilometers south of Garsila. One of the relatives of the deceased said that they were on board a lorry on their way to Um Dukhun when they were attacked and robbed. Two were wounded, including a citizen called Fadeel who was transferred to Zalingei hospital for treatment while the other was taken to Garsila hospital. The relative also added that a group of relatives managed to capture the culprit and hand him over to Garsila police.
