Armed men wearing military uniforms accused of being behind the attackA civilian was shot dead by an armed group wearing military uniforms in West Darfur’s Zalingei on Thursday.This is the second incident of violence in two days reported from Zalingei.Khadija Haroun Ibrahim, an elderly woman, was shot dead by three gunmen dressed in military uniform in the district of Asalaama during the wee hours of Thursday, his son Mohammed Adam told Radio Dabanga.Mohammed Adam said, “The gunmen fired three shots at my mother’s chest and abdomen. I tried rushing to help her since I was in the next tent, but they had already shot her dead.”Adam told Radio Dabanga that he didn’t know the motivation behind the armed group’s attack on his mother. Radio Dabanga reported about the assault on a student in Zalingei market on Wednesday.
