Central Darfur security detains rickshaw driver
Security officers detained a rickshaw driver in Nierteti town, Central Darfur, on Sunday. “Adam Idris Nasreldin (25) was stopped by security officers when he was driving his rickshaw at the market of Nierteti on Sunday,” his brother told Radio Dabanga. “They told him to follow them to the security office in the town. At the end of the day, he had not returned. When we went to the security office to inquire about him, we were told that he is “under investigation”. Nasreldin’s family appealed via Radio Dabanga to the commissioner of Nierteti locality and Unamid to intervene, “and release him immediately”.
