Camel raid on Jebel Marra leaves one wounded

One of the citizens of El Waha district in Jebel Marra in South Darfur was wounded by bullets when 15 camels were stolen from Jido Elrizeigi by unknown attackers.Four people followed the trail of the raiders, which led to an armed group in military uniforms. The armed group was on horse and camel-back and opened fire on the group of pursuers.

A resident said that they have filed a complaint at El Waha police station but the police told them that they were unable to go out to the areas where the trail of the stolen camels had led to. The resident, speaking through Radio Dabanga, appealed to the authorities, to do their duty.
