Brazen daylight robbery of Darfur passenger bus

One person was killed and three others wounded in an armed robbery of a bus on the road between El Geneina and Nyala in Khor Taliba. The brazen attack happened in daylight hours Tuesday, according to one witness who was on the passenger bus. Several men, including two gunmen, stopped the bus and ordered all of the passengers and ordered all of the passengers to disboard. They made them lie down on the ground and beat them, taking money and mobile phones from everyone. The witness said that the bus driver was among three people who were taken to Niertiti Hospital to receive treatment after the attack. As many as 70 people were robbed of their possessions.
