Boy of 13 abducted from North Darfur camp
On Tuesday, a boy was kidnapped in El Mawashi camp for the displaced in Kabkabiya locality.
Speaking to Radio Dabanga, the coordinator of the Kabkabiya camps reported that basic school student Feisal Mohamed (13) was taken from his home by four militiamen.
“The men arrived on two motorcycles on Tuesday evening. Three of them entered the shelter of Fatima Kora, while the fourth kept watch on the motorcycles,” he said.
“They severely beat the mother with their rifle butts before they took her son, and left with him for an unknown destination.”
The coordinator called on the North Darfur authorities, Unamid, and the UN to provide protection to the displaced in Darfur.
