Bombing in Sudan’s South Kordofan, Buram bridge blown

The Sudanese Air Force reportedly bombed the area of Mendel el Sabi, Delling locality, South Kordofan, killing a number of livestock and burning farms. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, Sultan Khamis Soba said that an Antonov aircraft dropped six bombs on Mendel el Sabi village and its surroundings, leading to the death of large numbers of livestock and farms destroyed by fire.He added that the residents of those areas now stay away from their farmlands, out of fear of indiscriminate aerial bombardments. The Sultan also said that militiamen reportedly killed Sheikh el Amin Balla (70) at Kujuriya village in Delling locality. The militiamen attacked Sheikh el Amin Balla inside his house at Kujuriya and mutilated his body. A hand and an ear were cut off and one of his eyes was removed. The spokesman for the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-North) announced that “pro-government militias” have blown the Buram City Bridge in the Nuba Mountains in South Kordofan state.The bridge of Buram connects the rural areas of the south of the state with the capital Kadugli.
