Bombardments in Darfur’s East Jebel Marra kill four
A boy and three rebel fighters were killed in an aerial bombardment in East Jebel Marra on Wednesday. “An Antonov of the Sudanese Air Force conducted a large number of air raids on various areas in East Jebel Marra on Wednesday. One of the bombs killed Salem Ahmed Salem (12) when he was grazing livestock in the area of Dady”, a relative of the victim reported to Radio Dabanga. “A number of camels and cows were killed too.” The source explained that the bombardments started at about 8 am, and lasted until the afternoon. “A total of 24 bombs were dropped on the areas west of Dadi, south of Jebabeen, until the area of Mashrou Abu Zeid.” He said that three rebels were killed near Keira in East Jebel Marra, when one of the bombs hit the vehicle they were in.
