He also blamed the president for leading the wars in Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile that killed thousands of people.“How can Bashir ask people to show faith in God after everything he has done? The solution to the current crisis lies in overthrowing the regime in Khartoum,” said Kamal Omar Abdel said.Darfur refugees to Bashir: Step downMeanwhile, Darfuri refugees voiced their opinion against Bashir’s plea by asking him to step down and do justice to Sudan’s public.Ahmed Atem, coordinator of North Darfur camps, told Radio Dabanga that Bashir’s resignation is the only thing that would get Sudan out of the current economic crisis, inflation and price hike.“Bashir should consider to turn himself to God first. What he did and is doing in Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile, and all over the Sudan. The only way to justice is by offering his resignation.” Ahmed Atem said.The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant against Bashir for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Darfur.National Front: Overthrow regimeOn the other hand, the National Front petitioned an appeal on Wednesday to overthrow the regime in Khartoum. Headed by lawyer Ali Mahmoud Hassanein, the National Front made an appeal to all Sudanese people across the nation to make an appeal to bring down the Sudanese regime after evening prayers on Friday, October 21. He asked all Sudanese neighborhoods in Khartoum and other states to take forward his petition.
