Baby girl dies by hands of gunmen

An 11 moths old girl was killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire at Hamidiya, Zalingei camp for IDPs. A witness of the incident at the camp told Radio Dabanga that the gunmen had come from the direction of ElTayba and opened fire at random causing serious wounds to the baby girl called Mariam Elias Haron. The girl was lying next to her mother when the shooting started, and died while being transported to Nyala hospital for treatment. The reason for the random shooting is yet unknown.
