Attack on bus leaves 1 dead and 4 injured, S Darfur
One person was killed and four others, including two women, were wounded in an attack on three buses, Saturday in the area of Wadi Mora on the road from Nyala to El Fasher in South Darfur. A witness told Radio Dabanga that gunmen on camels and horses opened fire on three buses on Saturday morning in the area of Wadi Mora near Shangil Tobay, en route from Nyala to El Fasher. It was reported that the incident left Mubarak Amro Abdullah, leading figure of the National Congress Party in Nyala and Secretary of the Jebel sports club in Nyala, dead.The witness claimed that the militants forced the passengers to disembark, hitting them with sticks, batons and rifle butts before looting their money, mobile phones and luggage.
