Army and SPLM-N clash in Blue Nile state
The Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) said they have managed to expel rebels from the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement North (SPLM-N) controlled areas of Dondora in Blue Nile state. SAF military spokesman Alsoarma Khaled Saad said Sudanese forces caused heavy losses in lives and equipment since the army started moving towards the area two days ago. SPLM-N spokesman Arnu Ngutulu Lodi denied this and said they had taken control of the area last week where they currently remain. He added that government forces tried two days ago to take over the area but failed to do so.
