Armed group carjacks four vehicles from West Darfur state
Four SUVs belonging to the state of West Darfur were carjacked by an armed group near the town on Ed-Daein, the capital of East Darfur, witnesses told Radio Dabanga on Tuesday. They said the vehicles were traveling between Khartoum and Nyala via El-Geneina and Ed-Daein, where they were intercepted. Two of the cars were Suzukis, one was a double-cabin Toyota and the fourth was a Land Cruiser, according to sources. Some people reportedly tried chasing the perpetrators but they only found the Toyota abandoned by the roadside in an area called Esheraya in Yassin locality, East Darfur.
