A resident of the Kabkabiya camps for displaced in North Darfur, was detained by militiamen from within Kabkabiya market on Saturday.
This is the second such detention in Kabkabiya market in two days. As previously reported by Radio Dabanga, a displaced man was detained by members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on Thursday evening.
Residents told Radio Dabanga on Sunday that six militiamen riding motorcycles went directly to Abdul Rahman as soon as they entered the market. “They threatened and asked him to go with them. When he refused, the militiamen beat him with rifle butts and then took him to an unknown destination."
