Al Salaam camp terrorized by random nighttime gunfire

Unidentified gunmen last night unleashed heavy firing on Al Salaam Camp in El Fasher, which created a state of panic and fear among the displaced. The camp leader informed Radio Dabanga that random shooting lasted from 9:00 at night until early in the morning hours. The camp residents, especially children, were overcome with apprehension and fear. The camp leader pointed out that authorities did nothing to find out who had done this.

On the other hand, the camp leadership sent over Radio Dabanga greetings for the occasion of Eid Al Adha, calling on all the social groups in Darfur to unite and work together to achieve peace and reject the exploitation of the National Congress Party in the implementation of its agenda of war.
