Air raid on Darfur’s East Jebel Marra
On Wednesday, an Antonov of the Sudanese Air Force bombarded the area of El Aradeb El Ashara in East Jebel Marra. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, one of the people who fled the area said the jet dropped eight bombs on Wednesday. “The bombardments did not cause any casualties among the population. Yet, a large number of livestock were killed and farmlands and pastures set on fire. “Most of the people in the area fled to the neighbouring valleys and mountains.” He added that one of the bombs did not explode.
