Air raid destroys water well in Darfur’s East Jebel Marra

An Antonov, allegedly of the Sudanese Air Force, reportedly dropped three bombs on the well of Um La’uta in East Jebel Marra, destroying the entire well and its water pump and killing 27 camels.  A listener told Radio Dabanga that the bombardment began on Thursday morning at 6am and lasted until 12 pm. The areas of Sherfa, Taja, Jebel Seiro Kandro, and east of Melam were also targeted. A witness could not specify if there were casualties.
