3 killed in militia attack on passenger vehicle, C Darfur
Sixteen pro-government militiamen opened fire on a passenger vehicle in Sudan’s Central Darfur killing three people, including the car’s owner. Another three persons were injured, and one of them was taken to a hospital. The vehicle was traveling from Foro Burunga to Nyala and was assaulted in Saraf Magen, 35km east of Mukjar city, on Monday at 5:00pm.An onlooker told Radio Dabanga the 16 militias were riding camels and could not carjack the Land Cruiser vehicle as its tires were punctured in the attack.Jeddou Idriss, the car owner, a woman and a third passenger were shot dead.
