An armed group robbed 200 cattle from Abu Azam area in Marshin, South Darfur, one of the owners of the stolen cattle told Radio Dabanga on Thursday.
“The armed group consisted of more than 10 people. They looted 200 cattle from the area,” the victim said.
The armed group allegedly headed out to the area of Eltaisha in Nitega. The victims of the theft tried chasing the dacoits, but were driven away by mayors and sheikhs in the area belonging to the Misseriya tribe.
