15 die in Chad-Sudan border clash
At least 15 people were killed, dozens injured, and others captured in a clash on Thursday between Chadian troops and the Chadian opposition on the Sudanese-Chadian border. Witnesses reported to Radio Dabanga that the clash commenced at about 3 pm on Thursday northwest of of Um Dukhun, close to the Chad-Sudan border. The clash led to the deaths of 11 members the opposition forces and the capture of 56. Four Chadian troops were reportedly killed and a vehicle destroyed.File photo: Albert González Farran / Unamid
